Some of the architectural renderings I’ve been commissioned to illustrate represent a variety of mediums and techniques.
Sandell Building Materials
The “cutaway” buildings for Sandell Building Materials were created to show how their line of sealant and waterproofing materials are applied to both residential and commercial buildings. The illustrations began with pencil sketches for approval, which were scanned and developed in Adobe Illustrator. The vector format allowed for resizing to large format down to web resolution without any degradation.
The perspective and elevation of the illustrations provided the optimal angle to show as many product applications as possible.
Ramada Inn
The Ramada Inn illustration was created as part of a promotional package for Price Chopper Supermarkets. The artwork was a mixed-medium, including guache and acrylic paints, and colored pencil for detailing. The materials it was printed on was signage and their in-store sales flyers to promote a free “Get-away Vacation” to one family to travel to this resort.
Office Design Submission
The office architectural renderings were developed as part of a submission to the town planning board for approval of plans to build. Because of the urgency, I was able to illustrate these in pen and ink, scan, colorize in Photoshop, print and deliver the final renderings in just 3 days time!
