A solid web or HMI (Human Machine Interface) design begins with the user experience. The structure must be intuitive, easy to use, functional – and aesthetically pleasing.
Design and user experience (UX) begins with understanding the client goals and user needs. The process: includes researching the target audience, competitors, and industry trends to gain insights into what will resonate with users. This phase often includes analytical research and analysis, developing a site architecture and creating wireframes before the design process begins. The goal is to define a clear concept that balances aesthetics and functionality, aligning the site’s design with the brand’s identity while also meeting user expectations. By exploring various ideas and concepts early on, designers can identify the most effective approach to solve the user’s problems and meet business objectives.
I’ve had the privilege of developing dozens of websites for a wide range of clients, and created several high-profile User Interface designs for General Electric’s Research and Development division.
